The Hamptons is currently on display at the North Shore Sita Retreat Display Village.

This beautiful home was inspired by sunny days, beaches and sea breezes.  Our aim was to create a home that made you feel like you were on holidays whilst still being extremely innovative and practical and the Hamptons does just that.  The design developed in response to feedback from clients wanting flexibility in living options, a smart practical design, and open plan living with the indoors blending seamlessly with the outdoors. 

Our main challenge was creating a home that was open and flowing whilst also providing different areas for members of the family to get away to. 

At 11.7m wide, the Hamptons is unique as it can be placed on narrow allotments yet because of its clever design does not feel long and narrow.  The home boasts large, flowing living spaces both indoors and out which wrap around the central hub of the gourmet custom designed kitchen complete with mirror flecked stone bench tops, wine rack, architectural tap ware, waterfall island bench and integrated European appliances including coffee machine, microwave and dishwasher.

Your eye is immediately drawn through the living to the alfresco area where timber decking and a stunning beach hut create an open space with two distinct zones: the relaxed outdoor lounge and the alfresco dining area which is under the hut.  This space is perfect for entertaining yet also provides a quiet sanctuary to escape to. 

Glass louvers provide light and air in the family area and the large study nook also opens on to the living areas, allowing for the whole family to continue interacting together whatever they are doing. A unique built-in feature cabinet in the living area provides an eye-catching display without encroaching on the living area.

To the front of the property and away from the main living/entertaining area is a large theatre which can be used as an extra living area when the block out blinds are up and can also double as a guest room or 4th bedroom which allows a high level of flexibility in living options.

The spacious master bedroom is located at the rear of the property and boasts an enormous walk in wardrobe and luxurious ensuite featuring his and hers raised vanity, plenty of storage, stunning feature tiles and double shower. 

The large 2nd and 3rd bedrooms each have deep windows to continue the open airy feel of the home and built in robes with both hanging space and shelving which are finished off beautifully with frosted glass sliding doors.  These two bedrooms are located near the innovative bathroom layout which allows three people to utilise the bathroom privately at one time which allows for functionality for the family and the entertainer.
